Chair's Message

Congratulations to the class of 2007! Like preceding classes, you have benefited from a leadership development experience that is truly unique in terms of its content, structure and supportive environment that promotes open and constructive dialogue among classmates and the mentors and reactors who collectively offer a guiding hand.

The CEL experience does not have to end after graduation, in fact, completion of the Core program may be the beginning of a long-term relationship with CEL, the University at Buffalo School of Management and the Alumni Community. The CEL Alumni Association can be the conduit that connects you to a network of people and organizations that are active in our association and to a growing number of educational, social networking and community outreach opportunities that are offered to our membership. Like so many things in life – “you get out what you put in.” Your continued involvement in our association can offer many benefits but only if you are willing to be an active participant in sponsored events offered today and the development and support of future initiatives that promote personal and professional enrichment and the Western NY community that we are all proud to be a part of.

As this year’s Chair, I am privileged to be serving with a diverse group of Board Members representing the most current to earlier graduating classes. They have offered both their time and talents to serve as your representatives and will dedicate themselves to the development, promotion and execution of initiatives that are meant to enhance the value of your membership.

Alumni members can look forward to an exciting year that will offer a variety of opportunities to network, enhance your skills and contribute to the small business community that represents the future of our area. Not yet a member? Please consider joining us today. Together we can make a difference.
